"Ambiguously Good-Looking"

He skulks around; pushing the cart filled with clean dishes out of the kitchen as he replenishes the various food counters. Standing approximately 6 feet tall, with dark hair, eyes and stubble….I am fascinated by him. I never expected to come across a good-looking guy who works at one of the dining halls. He is not a student but a permanent staff worker. He can’t be more than 25 years old but oh-so-good looking to me. Probably of Middle Eastern or Hispanic heritage. Ferid, is his name. Having friends who work at the various establishments around campus helps, especially when it comes to identifying people. My friend nicknamed him “The Hubbell Zombie” but if he’s a zombie, he’s one heck of a good-looking one. I have dinner at Hubbell everyday, just to catch a glimpse of him. He smiled once. Wished it was at me. The subject of my interest at the moment.

In the beginning of the semester, it was a grad student by the name of A. Being from Kazakhstan; his abilities included speaking some 5 languages. I think foreign languages are smexy* (spelled intentionally). Pretty decent looking he is I suppose. Apparently, I have tendencies for liking men who are “ambiguously good-looking”, meaning that they can go either way. I never noticed it until a friend mentioned it to me and I have to admit that it’s true at the moment. I don’t like him(A)so much anymore. When my friends ask me what my type is, I can’t really specify but I’ll take tall, dark and ambiguously good-looking anytime.

* credits go to Tony on this one
