I've always been hesitant about doing certain things alone, and one of them is working. I found myself stationed at the new Digital Mall in SS14, PJ for a 3 day job stint without any pals and without any idea how to get back home from work. To make matters even more interesting, most of my co-workers were male and speak mostly Chinese. I mentally and physically prepared myself for what might turn out to be a very boring job situation. I brought along my mp3 player, a story book and even a crossword puzzle book. Needless to say, by the middle of day one, I realized that I wouldn't be using any of those to entertain myself.

Working with those guys was awesome! Crazy and fun at the same time. Whenever there was a lull in the number of customers in the store, we would end up talking and laughing and gossiping about the numerous customers. I tell you, guys can be quite as bad and at times, even worse than girls when it comes to gossip. I ended up making several friends and I am quite sure to be missed now that I'm gone. And, it was no sweat finding my way back to Klang. Took a taxi and rode a bus...
