So here I am, yeap…still stuck without Internet connection. Its beginning to get rather irritating that Telekom still has not done anything about the broadband connection yet. But that isn’t what’s been bugging me. My mum left for Cambodia today; she’ll only be back on December 1, 2006. However, this morning before she left, I got another phone call from Grace. Apparently, I have to arrive no later than January 10th but the current ticket is for arrival on the 11th. If I change airlines from United to Delta, it would mean that I have to pay for the ticket again to Delta but wait for a refund from United which would mean a waiting period of 3 months or so. The only option left for me is to take the Delta flight which leaves on the 9th and arrives the same day. That way, I can still report to the University on time.
I have not booked that ticket yet. I’ll be going down to MSL (again!) tomorrow to see what I can cook up. The worst part is that I can’t contact anyone in the States as they are all having Thanksgiving! I’m certainly not thankful for that! Keep in mind, I’ve still not gotten my transfer credit evaluation nor have I registered for classes and I’ve not gotten the finer details sorted out yet. Gahh!!! Someone please shoot me! I think I’ve already been shot more than once today because every time I take a sip of water, some part of me leaks out fluid…
